The brief
PeptideVerify is a testing and verification platform: HPLC and LC-MS certificates that tell people whether a peptide is what it claims to be. In a market full of unverified claims, the whole value of the site is trust. It had to read as credible to a careful human, and it had to be structured so that search engines and AI tools could understand and pass on what it says.
The challenge
Trust is hard to fake and easy to lose. A site like this cannot look thin or templated, and it cannot bury its evidence. It also lands in a space where people increasingly ask an AI tool a question rather than scrolling a results page. So it was not enough to rank; the content had to be clear and well-structured enough to be quoted accurately when an AI answers a question about peptide verification.
What we built
We architected and built PeptideVerify from scratch as a custom Node.js and Express application — not a static site or a page builder. At its core is a verification engine that issues tamper-evident, digitally-signed PDF certificates, each carrying a QR code for instant verification. Around that sit secure user accounts, Stripe billing and a MySQL backend.
Then we built the public-facing side around E-E-A-T: experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust. The evidence is presented plainly, the markup makes certificates and claims machine-readable, and the pages are structured so the answers are easy to lift and cite, which is what AI search rewards.
- Architected and built the platform from scratch in Node.js and Express — a real application, not a template or a static site
- Built a verification engine that issues tamper-evident, digitally-signed PDF certificates with QR codes for instant verification
- Integrated Stripe billing and secure user accounts on a MySQL backend
- Structured the public pages for E-E-A-T and to be cited by AI search, not just ranked by Google
- Clean markup and schema so certificates and claims are machine-readable
The result
PeptideVerify reads as a credible source and is built to be treated as one by both Google and AI search. The content is structured so the platform's answers can be surfaced and quoted, and the underlying build is clean and fast, so nothing about the technical side undermines the trust the content is working to earn.
