Who we are
Small, hands-on, and properly technical.
TS Webdesign is a small studio based in Teesside, working with clients across the North East and Glasgow. We design and hand-code every site ourselves. There is no production line and no off-the-shelf theme being dressed up to look custom.
Most sites today are built on page builders and templates. They look fine for a week and then start to drag: slow to load, awkward to change, and weak for search. We work the other way round. We write the code, so the site is fast, the structure is clean, and you are not paying a platform every month just to keep it online.

Understand the business
Before any design, we work out what the site is actually for: who it needs to reach, what it needs them to do, and the searches that bring the right people in.

Design
We design something bespoke that fits the brand, not a theme bent to fit. Clear structure, a real hierarchy, and pages built around how people read and search.

Hand-build
We hand-code the site in Astro, or Shopify Hydrogen for headless commerce. No page builders, no theme bloat. Clean markup that loads fast and ranks.

Launch and support
We launch it on our own UK server, make sure it is fast and findable, and stay on hand to keep it that way. You own the site, so you are never locked in.
What we believe
A few things we will not compromise on.
Genuinely fast
Sub-second loads and 100/100 PageSpeed are the floor, not the headline. Fast is hand-tuned, not a plugin you switch on.
Owned by you
No monthly platform fee to stay online, no builder holding your content hostage. You own the site and can host it anywhere.
Built to be found
Structure, schema and content that earn rankings on Google and get your pages cited by AI search. Being found is built in, not bolted on.
No templates, no lock-in
Every site is designed and coded from scratch for the business it serves. Nothing generic, nothing you cannot take with you.
Commerce from the inside
We run our own shops, so we know what makes one sell.
This is not theory. The studio's founder built and runs their own eCommerce brands. rewnd passed £200k in revenue in its first year. PeptideVerify passed £100k in its first five months. Both are sites we designed, built and run ourselves.
So we have felt the things agencies only talk about: a slow storefront costing sales, a checkout that has to just work, the gap between a site that looks good and a site that sells. We have also worked with AI search since ChatGPT first launched, because our own businesses depend on being found in it. When we build for you, it is built by someone who has done it.
